Class 20(2) A yielding mine arch comprises an arch 4 telescoping with deformable stilts 1 into which may fit extension stilts 1a. The arch may be of tubular or box section and the stilts of tubular, channel, or H-section. A final leg of rectangular cross-section equal to that of the arch may be added and this carries a loose ring on which the arch bears.
