870,636. Gaseous pressure actuated singlestroke apparatus. UNION CARBIDE CORPORATION. Sept. 30, 1959 [Oct. 22, 1958], No. 33119/59. Class 8(2). A single-stroke piston 24 serving to control a steering fin 38 is actuated by gaseous hydrogen leaving the warm end of a vaporizing coil 17 supplied at the cold end with liquid hydrogen from a heat insulated storage container 12. A pair of two-way valves 20, 21 connected by a link 22 which may be manually or electrically controlled serve as inlet and exhaust valves respectively according to their setting.
