[Also in Group V] A hollow roller for a conveyer comprises a metal shell 7, the ends of which may be swaged over and apertured or notched, with moulded synthetic resin, e.g. a polyester resin, ends having bearing-apertures 8. In a modification, Fig. 5, the moulded ends may have V-grooves 15.
