868,785. Forcing liquids by gaseous pressure. STERLING DRUG Inc. Sept. 25, 1957 [Oct. 5, 6591]. No. 30100/57. Class 102(2). An actuator for the valve stem 16 of an aerosol dispenser has a passage 38 having a shoulder 40 for receiving and actuating the stem 16 and an open ended chamber 20 through which the contents are discharged. When the actuation is removed from the stem 16 the chamber 20 can be fitted over a shoulder 46 on the aerosol and the end 44 is adapted to receive a cap 12. Air passages 56 are provided through the actuator. The outlet passage 32 is covered by a baffle and communicates with a hole in the baffle by elongated passages 48. Specification 830,427 is referred to.
