Abstract

867,437. Cable terminals. ENGLAND, H. O. Nov. 16, 1959 (Nov. 27, 1958], No. 38753/59. Class 38 (1). The electrical and mechanical connection between a battery post 2 and a terminal member 3 is improved by a screw 13 which engages in . a tapered and threaded drilling 8 made in the terminal member. After placing the terminal member on the post 2, the screw 13 is screwed into the drilling 8, and the threads of the screw cut serrations in the post. The screw is attached to the end 7 of a cable by a flexible link 15.
