Abstract

865,901. Burning refuse. OFU-OFENBAUUNION-G.m.b.H. Sept. 19, 1958 [Sept. 21, 1957], No. 30107/58. Class 51 (1). Waste material which would be dangerous to burn in one operation is melted in a chamber 121 within a fire bridge 12 in a refuse burning furnace, and the liquid waste allowed to fall on the grate 2 through outlets 123. An outlet 122 allows gases evolved to reach the furnace chamber 13. The waste may be melted in a second furnace chamber 14 and consumed by a burner 32. A burner 33 completes the combustion of the flue gases. The furnace has a burner 31 for waste which is liquid at normal temperatures, and secondary air inlets 15.
