859,066. Making dynamo-electric machines. IMMOVILLI, S. Oct. 9, 1958, No. 32207/58. Class 83 (2). [Also in Group XXXV] A process for fabricating dynamo-electric machine stators comprises, Fig. 5, applying an adhesive layer 60, e.g. a synthetic resin to the cylindrical outer surface of a laminated stator core 2 having annularly arranged teeth between which windings 4 are carried, placing a cylindrical yoke 1 radially outside the core outer surface, and applying radially outward pressure to the core to bond it by the adhesive to the yoke. The core may have the form shown in either Fig. 1 or 2 whereof the bridges 31, 51 interconnecting the teeth 30, 50 are either machined off or deformed respectively during the process. The radial pressure is exerted by a threaded ring 10 and expansible sleeve 7 on a mandrel 6.
