Class 52(2) A detachable table leg with a hollow or solid plastic body 11 has a tubular opening 7 at its upper end in which is fixed a tapered insert member 12 of plastic having secured axially therein a bolt 13 which engages in the threaded bolt 25 of an anchor disc 24 fastened to the frame 20, to be supported, by screws 22. The insert 12 may be secured by adhesive. In a modification, Fig. 7, the insert 12A has a nut 30 and the anchor disc 24A carries a bolt 13A. If the leg is required to be inclined a wedge is inserted between disc 24 and frame 20.
