857,766. Bobbins. JERSEY FABRICS Ltd. Sept. 1, 1958 [Dec. 19, 1957], No. 39432/57. Class 120(3). A flangeless bobbin for ribbonlike materials comprises a tubular core 1 provided at each side with a plurality of detachable spokes 3 the inner ends of which are screwthreaded or otherwise formed for engagement in holes in the core. Additional holes 5 provide for selective re-location of the spokes the outer ends 6 of which may be bent outwards at 6. Needle points protruding from the core hold the starting portion of the package.
