Abstract

857,667. Switch boxes. HEGSTAD, E. April 10, 1957, No. 11781/57. Class 38 (5). [Also in Group XXXVI] To facilitate the insertion of cables into a fuse, switch &c. box 1, one or more of the walls of the box are each formed with an opening 3 which is open-sided at 4 towards the front of the box, the open side being subsequently closed by a projection 6 on a frame 5 which fits on the front of the box. A raised portion 7 surrounding the opening 3, which is also completed by the projection 6, forms an abutment face for the mounting of cable-securing means, and a lid, not shown, co-operates with the frame to form a closure for the box.
