Abstract
853,872. Rotary motors and pumps. BENDIX CORPORATION, [formerly BENDIX AVIATION CORPORATION]. April 25, 1957 [May 7, 1956], No. 13260/57. Class 110 (2). A rotary pump or motor of the outwardlysliding vane type is provided with an accumulator chamber 36 which communicates with a groove 32 subjected to the output pressure of the device. The chamber 36 also communicates with a series of radial grooves 39 in the rotor 10 through a series of passages 38, the members 38, 39 being so positioned relative to one another that a particular groove 39 is connected to one of the passages 38 just before its associated working chamber 13 which is fed by the passage 39 is connected to an outlet port, see also Fig. 2 (not shown). The above arrangement eliminates pulsations and noise in the device. Specification 799,302 is referred to.
