Abstract
851,955. Ohmic resistors. CORNING GLASS WORKS. Nov. 4, 1958 [Nov. 8, 1957], No. 35387/58. Class 37 A resistor comprises a dielectric rod 11 around which is a ribbon of conductive material 34. Low resistance terminals 35 are provided at each end of the ribbon being so shaped that the junction between the ribbon and each terminal lies along a line perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the ribbon.
