850,776. Jigging-elevators. INTERNATIONAL COMBUSTION (HOLDINGS) Ltd. Oct. 8, 1957 [Aug. 1, 1956], No. 23782/56. Class 78 (1). In vibratory feeders of the kind in which articles or materials are moved along a helical path 2 mounted on the inner surface of a light metal bowl 1 to which vibrations are imparted by an electromagnet 6 and which is bolted to a carrier plate 4, set screws 7 mounted in the plate 4 bear on the undersurface of the bottom 3 of the bowl and are adjusted to set up stress in the bowl sufficient to reduce or eliminate objectionable secondary vibrations. The screws may bear on a reinforcing ring secured to the bowl.
