Abstract

850,125. Collapsible trolleys. DWERRYHOUSE, P. J. May 28, 1959 [May 7, 1958], No. 14666/58. Class 108(1). A golf-trolley has rigid tubes 10 for housing the clubs, held in spaced relationship by apertured plates 12, 13 and 14. The plates 13 and 14 are secured together by tubular struts 15 and the plates 12, 13 by a tubular strut 28 which slidably accommodates the propelling handle 26. To the lower end of the handle 26 is pivoted a U-shaped member 16, the limbs of which are pivotally secured to an axle tube which detachably. receives a stub axle and wheel 24. The U-shaped member 18 pivoted to the lower part of the carriage also carries an axle tube to receive the other stub axle and wheel 24. A clamp nut 30 surrounding the handle 26 maintains the carriage erected as shown or collapsed with the U-shaped members 16 and 18 nested.
