A board game simulating football match results comprises pieces moved in accordance with the throw of a die around a peripheral track some segments of which are numbered and marked with the name of one of eight football teams, some are marked to denote coloured counters, some are marked to denote passage of time, and some are marked to denote advantages. Within the track are four identical straight tracks (only one is shown in detail) each having two sub-tracks up which two of eight team markers are moved in accordance with a playing piece landing on the segments of the peripheral track marked with the names of the appropriate teams. The sub-tracks are associated with numbering denoting goals scored. Time counters are provided and one is put in each time square at the top of the straight track when a piece lands on a segment of the main track marked to denote passage of time. When all four time squares are filled that match is finished and a counter is placed in the circle at the top of the straight track, the counter being coloured to denote a home win, an away win, or a draw as determined by the goal numbers opposite the team markers on the sub-tracks. In the course of play, players acquire coloured counters exchanged for result cards of which there are 15 each marked with four results (home, away or draw), the set making up all the possible combinations of results. When all four matches (one for each straight track) are completed, the player holding the result card corresponding to the four actual results wins the game.
