Abstract

848,389. Decorative electric lamps. TARGETTI, S. Feb. 6, 1959 [April 12, 1958], No. 4191/59. Class 75(4). [Also in Group XV] A decorative star for a Christmas tree is formed from a central polyhedral core constituted by two symmetrical mating elements and from elongated pyramids applied to the faces of the core. Corresponding apertures are provided in the bases of the pyramids and in the faces of the core. Plastic material is used for the star, and all but one of the pyramids are applied with a glue bond, such as a solvent. The pyramid from which the star is suspended is removably fixed in a hole in the core and may be provided with a hole for the passage of wires supplying an electric lamp. As shown, the core comprises two elements 1 which are welded along the edges and is provided with triangular windows 2. The tetrahedrons 3 provided with triangular apertures 3b are fixed by welding with glue to the core, while the face 4 of the core has a circular hole 4a into which is pushed the cylindrical extension 6b of the modified tetrahedron 6. The tetrahedron 6 is provided with a hole 6a through which pass the wires 7 supplying the electric lamp 8.
