Abstract

847,911. Rotary pumps. MERRITT & CO. ENGINEERING Ltd. Feb. 8, 1957 [Feb. 15, 1956], No. 4695/56. Class 110(2). In a rotary pump of the n and n+ 1 lobe type the pinion 10 is made in the form of an equilateral triangle having convex teeth 12 whilst the annulus 11 has four teeth 14 shaped as shown. The pump is provided with an inlet passage 16 and an outlet passage 17. For details of the machining of the rotor the Specification should be referred to.
