Abstract
847,482. Sound deadening buildings. REEVES, S. Jan. 30, 1957 [Jan. 30, 1956], No. 2904/56. Addition to 774,550. Class. 20(2) [Also in Group XXVII] In the open-topped pen described in the parent Specification two front doors 12 are provided each of which is integral with or connected to a movable portion 13 of the respective side wall 10 of the pen and made in detachable sections. The two units are mounted upon trucks or rollers for movement at right angles to the sides of the pen; screens are erected temporarily at the positions eventually to be occupied by the doors. As shown, the doors are L-shaped in plan and close against low walls 19, 20. The internal surfaces of the pen, including the air-gap compartment 21, are lined with sound-absorbing material fitted in sections and detachably secured in place.
