Class 34(2) In a spin drier comprising a rotatableperforated basket 14, Fig. 1, within a container 13 having a cast bottom 23, Fig. 3, with an oval-shaped liquid outlet 33, liquid is directed through the outlet by a wall 45 which surrounds it on its downstream side. A motor 20 belt drives both the basket and a pump 35 for withdrawing liquid through the outlet. The seal 24 between the basket and the container is as described in Specification 846,111.
