844,658. Switch cases. ALLDAY & SON (1922) Ltd., H. Feb. 13, 1959 [March 20, 1958], No. 8919/58. Class 38 (5). A wall box for mounting switches or other electrical accessories has at opposite sides thereof sockets 8 for receiving cover fixing screws, the sockets being formed in insulating pieces 7 which are slidably held against side walls of the box by projections 9 pressed up from the base of the box and 10 bent from the upper edge of the side walls. The cover plate may therefore be aligned accurately with the wall. U-shaped clips 12 are placed over the sockets 8 to keep them free from plaster while the box is being installed.
