Abstract

A composition for use in the control of slugs is prepared by dispersing ortho- or para-nitrochlorobenzene or a mixture thereof, preferably 2 parts of the p-nitrochlorobenzene and 1 part of the o-nitrochlorobenzene and preferably in the proportion of up to 10% by weight of the nitrochlorobenzene in a solid carrier, e.g. talcum, sawdust, bentonite or bran with or without the inclusion of glue or dextrin, or in an emulsion of hydrocarbon solvent in water.
