Abstract

835,088. Toy figures. HARTLEY, N. Sept. 10, 1958 [Sept. 21, 1957], No. 29758/57. Class 132(3) A sheet of foamed polyurethene is cut to produce a foundation A, a face portion B and a pair of shoes or feet C of a doll. Eyes and eyelashes are stitched or otherwise secured in position, and a mouth and nose may be formed by stitches of thread. The face is bonded to the head and the feet or shoes are secured to the legs. Hands may be formed by thread H and by a cleft J; alternatively, separate hands may be cemented into position. Hair K is represented by thin foamed material stitched or cemented on the head, and thin sheet polyurethene is used to form, the clothes. Two or more superposed face portions may be employed. In constructing animals or similar figures, two face portions are attached, one at each side of the foundation
