Abstract
835,051. Weighing apparatus. GIORGIO, L. DI. Feb. 21 1957 [Feb. 21, 1956], No. 5840/57. Class 143 A float 2 carrying a weigh-pan 3, is guided to remain level as it sinks in a liquid, and the weight of material in the pan is indicated by a graduated scale 4 on the float or on the liquid container 1, which may be transparent or have a transparent panel. The guiding links 7 are pivoted at one end to shafts 5 on the float and at the other to the container. The liquid may be coloured to facilitate reading, and the float or the container may be so shaped that the graduations are more widely spaced for small weights. All parts, except the shafts 5 and the link retaining nuts (not shown) may be made of plastic materials.
