834,693. Photographic film spools. GEVAERT PHOTO-PRODUCTEN N. V. July 4, 1957 [July 5, 1956], No. 21231/57. Class 98(1) A photographic film spool has a seated film-receiving core, one wall of the seat has a film-anchoring projection 5 for entering a hole near one end of a film and the opposite wall of the slot has projections 3, 4, the faces of the projections being shaped so that the film end can be flexed past the projection 5 merely by pushing the film into the slot. At the rear of projection 5 a groove 9 may be provided for entry of part of the film when this has been engaged over projection 5 and is tensioned, the bottom of this groove preferably being convex with respect to the groove entrance.
