Abstract
A number of animal bladders are placed one within another over a former, at least one of each pair of adjacent surfaces having been coated with adhesive, and then heated to set them permanently to the shape of the former. The bladders have initially been cleaned and inflated, softened with water for ease of manipulation and turned inside out. In the example quoted, table lamps (both stand and shade) are made from cow bladders.
