[Also in Group XXIX] A base 13, for a metal vessel 10 having a convex bottom 12, is made of flexible material and has a covering 14 adhered to the bottom, and elongated feet 15 integral with the covering 14 and forming grooves 20 between them, the feet 15 having soles 16 for engaging a supporting surface. In a space 19 on the covering 14 are projections 21 integral with the covering 14. The base 13 may be of rubber, and the vessel 10, in the form of a tank, is of drawn or welded sheet metal. An air vent 22 is provided.
