Abstract

828,439. Cut-outs. WARD & GOLDSTONE Ltd., and HOLT, H. Feb. 28, 1957 [March 1, 1956], No. 6410/56. Class 38 (1). A cartridge fuse holder comprises a body A and a cap B, connected together by a bayonet joint the fuse C being housed in the body A and its end caps P contacting contacts N connected to leads E, one at least of which is resiliently biased by a spring J. It is stated in the Provisional Specification that the cap may have a spigot to fit into the body, and that the spigot is separate from the cap and constituted by a metal stamping of C-section having tongues which engage the inner surface of the cap. The spigot may also be integral with the cap and the cap and body are connected by a bayonet-joint in either case.
