Abstract

828,043. Electron beam deflecting apparatus. STEATITE RESEARCH CORPORATION. April 21, 1958 [May 27, 1957], No. 12601/58. Class 39(1). A ferromagnetic yoke 10 for a cathode-ray tube deflection coil system is in four parts 11-1, 11-2 and 12-1, 12-2 with parallel mating surfaces as shown. Parts 12-1, 12-2 are adjusted laterally on the neck of the tube. The yoke may consist -of soft iron, ferrous alloy or ferrite material.- The mating surfaces of sintered ferrite or sintered metal parts are ground flat after firing.
