825,706. Conveyer belt cleaning devices. SIMON-CARVES Ltd. Feb. 22, 1957 [Jan. 28, 1956], No. 2838/56. Class 78 (1). A conveyer belt 1 is cleaned by a device consisting of a pair of side plates 3 between hooks 15 on which are stretched a number of piano wires 14, the plates 3 being pivoted at 4 on the ends of levers 5 secured to a shaft 7 which is acted on by a spring 8 through a lever 6 to press the wires 14 against the belt. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 770,203.
