Abstract

825,661. Endless conveyer belts on trolleys. COAL INDUSTRY (PATENTS) Ltd. Nov. 21, 1957 [Nov. 30, 1956], No. 36722/56. Class 78 (1). Coal (Fig. 10) is transported from mining machine M to shoot T feeding to gate conveyer C, by a train of wheeled and connected trolleys 200. Each trolley may carry a separate endless scraper or belt conveyer, or the train of trollies may carry together a single endless conveyer. Trolley 200 carries scraper conveyer 26 working in trough 21, each end of the trough being flared at 22 and carrying side-pieces 23 joining with adjacent trolleys. The trolleys mount central wheels 29 which run on mono-rail 30, being balanced thereon by guiding wheels 34. Mono-rail 30 is mounted on stands 32 supported by feet 31 and is formed in sections pivotally-connected together. In a second embodiment, trolley 2001 has frame 59 carrying endless belt 57 driven by motor 62 and its wheels 29, 61 co-operate, as above, with mono-rail 30.
