Classes 20(3) and 137 An adjustable louvre assembly in which the louvres are pivoted to jambs or mullions, has weather seals provided between the jambs and the edges of the louvre blade holders, and between the edges of the louvre blades and the insides of the holders by a resilient and compressible sealing member which is inserted between the edge of the louvre blade and the inside of its holder, the sealing member also projecting through longitudinal slots in the edges of the clip holders to engage with weather heads on the jambs. As shown, the sealing member 23 which is composed of a central core having a projecting pile of fibres of nylon or other resilient material, is inserted between the louvre blade 12 and the edge of its holder 13 and projects slightly from the slot 21 to form a weather seal with the head 15 when the louvre is closed. Modifications disclose a sealing strip comprising a fabric tape with fibres of nylon which is folded so that fibres project from both sides, and also a sealing strip either of solid form or hollow at the joint between the louvre blade and its holder.
