823,225. Polishing appliances. PAULSEN, J. Feb. 1, 1956 [Feb. 1, 1955; May 26, 1955], No. 3225/56. Class 19. A tool, Fig. 4, for applying paint or wax or cleaning windows comprises an endless rubber hose 3 mounted on a block 1 which is recessed to receive the arms 6 of a handle 7, the handle being. retained in position by the spring action of the arms 6 or a through-going screw (not shown). In a modification, Fig. 5, the block 11 has tapered ends 16 which are slotted at 12 to receive the ends of a rubber hose 13, see also Fig. 7 (not shown), the block being provided with opposed slots 14 to receive a handle.
