819,118. Building units; walls &c. TAYLOR, E. E. Dec. 11, 1957, No. 38474/57. Classes 20(4) and 87(1) A storey-high building slab 1 having flanges 2 on its longitudinal edges is reinforced internally by wire mesh 5. The slab has spaced recesses 3 on one or other of its major faces, and the flanges also are recessed at 4 or provided with through apertures; the flanges have bolt-holes 6 at their ends. Wall slabs with apertured flanges are erected with the flanges facing the interior of the building and are faced with hardboard &c. by attaching wooden nailing strips to the flanges by means of wire passed through the apertures and tied round the strips, and then nailing the facing panels to these strips.
