Abstract
818,040. Electroplating racks. LUKENS STEEL CO. March 5, 1956 [May 24, 1955], No. 6773/56. Class 41. An electroplating rack comprises a pair of parallel side members 14 connected by bars 22 between which may be removably located a flange 36 on a foot 28, a supporting member such as a loop 16 fixed to the upper end of the rack by means of which the rack may be suspended from a horizontal member such as a beam 10, and a fixed block 44 having an adjustable member 64 secured thereto, as by means of a rod having opposed screw threads, said foot and adjustable block member having work-engaging surfaces 30, 68 for locating and making good electrical contact with a workpiece such as a plate 40, to be plated.
