Abstract
817,676. Model building bricks. DEHM. J. March 29, 1956 [March 31, 1955], No. 10007/56. Class 132(3) A hollow model building brick has on one side of its largest faces four or more projections 1 arranged in two rows to afford connection with another similar brick. the opposite face being open and the inner faces of the side walls formed with recesses, e.g. as in Fig. 4, to receive and partly surround the projections of a brick of corresponding form. The end recesses may be disposed in the corners. The bricks may have one or more holes 5 through which a wire or rod retaining member may be drawn to connect a number of adjacent bricks and give rigidity to the structure. Half-bricks and threequarter bricks with one and two holes respectively may be formed. Bevelled edges 4 provide recesses at the joints, which may be filled with gypsum. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 529,580.
