817,449. Checking receipts. GARNER, A. C. Oct. 21, 1957 [Oct. 19, 1956], No. 29317/56. Class 106 (1). A dispensing device comprises a structure 1 for supporting at least one column of articles 3, the structure being marked with amounts 9 so that the latter will be revealed in turn as articles are removed and so that the last amount revealed will indicate the total value of the articles removed from that column, and incorporating a receptacle 4 for money, preferably hinged as shown. Indications of the number of articles may be marked by the side of the amount markings 9. The device may be enclosed by a roll shutter 6 provided with a lock 7.
