Abstract
816,548. Mine roof supports. USSPURWIES G.m.b.H., J. Dec. 27, 1957 [Jan 12, 1957], No. 40157/57. Class 20(2) A sole plate 1 for mine roof supports has an area about twice the cross-section of the support and has its corners 3 bent up substantially at right angles. A rectangular sole plate 1 has its corners 3 bent on a line at 45 degrees to the sides about the same length as the unbent sides 5. A hollow prop 2 is welded at 7 on to the centre of the plate 1 and has a cutout 8 for a crusher block.
