815,022. Hydraulic brakes. DAIMLERBENZ A.G. Feb. 20, 1957 [Feb. 24, 1956], No. 5759/57. Class 103 (1). In an hydraulic braking system on a motor vehicle, a master cylinder 10 supplies fluid to the wheel brake cylinders by way of distributing pieces at respective axles; one of the distributing pieces 13 (on the rear axle) being provided with a closable connection by which the system can be charged with brake fluid from the lowest point of the system in order to prevent air bubbles in the system when being filled initially. The master cylinder 10 is provided with a conventional reservoir 9 for topping up the system and a closable bleed hole is provided on the master cylinder.
