814,667. Cycle mudguards. BIRMING- HAM SMALL ARMS CO. Ltd. July 16, 1957 [May 1, 1956], No. 13305/56. Class 136(1) A cycle mudguard is formed in two parts 3 and 5 each of which can be secured to brackets 15 on the wheel fork 7 by brackets fixed to each part of the mudguard. The parts have deep valences 9 and their ends overlap under the fork. The brackets 17 and 19 inside the parts are bolted at 21 to the brackets 15 in the form of curved arms fixed to the fork. Instead of the deep valences, or in addition to them, longitudinal strengthening ribs may be provided and mudguard supporting stays may be dispensed with.
