812,838. Folding beds. SLUMBERLAND Ltd. Jan. 17, 1958 [Jan. 18, 1957], No. 1899/57. Class 52(2) A folding divan bed with frames 10, 11 hinged together has detachable central legs 17 mounted on stress blocks or locking plates secured, across the joint between frames, to one of the frames, the legs 17 and the outer legs 16, which are also detachable, being removed when the bed is folded and secured within the depth of one frame to a plate 22. The legs 16, 17 have threaded studs by which they are secured to the bed frames on plate 22 and have casters 21. In an alternative construction only legs 17 are detachable and legs 16 are hinged to the frame to fold thereinto.
