[Also in Group XXIX] A gas meter has inlet and outlet apertures 15, 17 on the same wall 16 of the casing 10 and co-axial passages 18, 27 connected to a co-axial inlet and outlet connector 24, the connector having a loose part 23 which can be positively connected, as by soldering, to the inner passage 18 before a channel member 26 is soldered to the casing to form the outer co-axial passage and the loose part is joined to the connector by tightening a union nut 60.
