Abstract
810,693. Brackets. FISHER & LUDLOW Ltd. Oct. 24, 1957 [Nov. 28, 1956], No. 36320/56. Class 52(5) Brackets 21 for supporting pallets in a rack are of angle section and L shape in elevation and the flanges of the upright limb each carry an inwardly directed pin 22, 24 which engage selected holes in the web and a side flange of channelsectioned corner posts 12 of the rack. The pin 22 is preferably headed to facilitate retention after insertion in a hole 13 with the bracket tilted away from the post and the bracket is then pivoted downwardly on the pin 22 so that the pin 24 can enter a slotted hole in the side flange. A bent metal strip 26 secured by pins 27 can be used to couple front and rear brackets to form a ledge, or a loose shelf can be placed on the brackets.
