Class 44 In a worm drive hose clip, a washer 11 provided on the screw adjacent the head 10 thereof is formed with two dimples 12, one at each side of the screw, the dimples being pressed from the washer so that they form protrusions on the face of the washer adjacent the screw-carrying part of the clip which engage the latter to prevent movement of the washer, whereby the screw is held with its axis parallel to a tangent to the periphery of the band of the clip within the screw-carrying part of the clip.
