Class 3(2) The treads of a cycle pedal are provided with an undercut recess to receive a circular reflex reflector 9 which is retained in position by the tie rods 6 of the pedal which prevent inadvertent flexing of the tread when positioned. The reflectors may be solely within the undercut portion of the recess and may be made of glass or polystyrene.
