Abstract

The invention comprises esters of the formula <FORM:0805704/IV (b)/1> wherein R is an ethylene radical, a tri-, tetra-or penta-methylene radical or -CH2CH2O-CH2CH2-, their salts with organic acids, and their preparation by reacting 2-(2-diethyl-aminoethyl-thio)-ethanol with a compound <FORM:0805704/IV (b)/2> wherein R1 is Cl, OH or OR11, R11 being a hydrocarbon radical of 1-3 carbon atoms. In examples, the esters in which R is ethylene, triand tetra-methylene and -CH2CH2OCH2-CH2- are prepared from the corresponding acid chlorides, the citrate of the tetramethylene compound being described, and the ester in which R is pentamethylene is prepared from ethyl 1-phenyl-cyclohexane-1-carboxylate, itself prepared by bubbling HCl into an ethanolic solution of the free acid.
