Abstract

800,828. Strap fastenings. ERCOLANI, L. R., and REDRUP, T. Dec. 3,1956 [Dec. 1. 1955], No. 34427/55. Class 44 [Also in Group XIV] In a chair having transverse resilient ribbons 10 stretched between side rails 11 the end of the ribbon is secured to the frame by leading it through a slot 12 in rail 11 and returning it upwardly through the slot, the doubled end being enlarged by passing the ribbon around a dowel pin 15 and received in a recess 16. The main ribbon 10 and its returned end 13 are eyeletted, rivetted or otherwise secured together.
