Abstract
800,759. Kinematograph apparatus. MARINO, F. DI. Nov. 12. 1956 [Nov. 10, 1955], No. 34459/56. Class 97(1) An intermittent feed device, for example, for a film viewer, comprises a sprocket 11 and a spring blade 10 having one end fixed while the other bears on the film between the viewing aperture and the sprocket to form a loop with a perforation engaged on a locating pin 13 so that as the sprocket is rotated, as by a handle 12, the loop is shortened until the film is disengaged from the pin whereupon the spring feeds the film to engage the next perforation on the pin. In the form shown another spring 9 retains the film on the sprocket. Both springs are secured to a slidably detachable member 8, in which the viewing aperture is formed and which retains the film in a runway formed in the body 1. A cylindrical sprocket housing 4 may be moulded integrally with the body 1 and an eye-cup 2.
