Abstract
798,175. Artificial Bowers. DECAMP, A. E. Jan. 9, 1957 [Jan. 27, 1956], No. 855/57. Class 63 An artificial flower of moulded plastic material comprises an assembly of superposed petal carrying members, each of the form shown in Fig. 2, the members being threaded on a central tube 7, Fig. 1, and located between a "heart" 11 secured in the upper end of the tube 7 and a part 8 integral with the tube 7 and simulating the sepals of the flower. Keyways 9, Fig. 2, in the central apertures 6 of the petal carrying members are engaged by a longitudinal spline 10, Fig. 3 (not shown) on the tube 7 to locate the members in angular relation. The "heart" 11, Fig. 1, has a stem portion 13 inserted in the tube 7 and is held by a wire 14 which also reinforces the stalk consisting of a tube 16 engaging over the tube 7.
