797,700. Warping yams. ALGEMENE KUNSTZIJDE UNIE N.V. Dec. 8, 1955 [Feb. 11, 1955], No. 35324/55. Drawings to Specification. Class 142(1) To avoid imperfect fabric due to varying lustre and affinity for dyes in artificial threads when collected in a spinning centrifuge, or on a spool, or on a thread package obtained from an after-twisting process (such packages being subsequently termed "primary" packages) the warping is carried out directly from these primary packages. The warping comprises the following steps (a) dividing each package into lengths each equal to the length required on the warp beam, (b) forming a number of thread bands in which each band comprises one thread from each package and all the threads in it come from a corresponding part of the packages, (c) winding the bands consecutively on to the warp beam in the same sequence as the threads in them had in the packages.
