Abstract
796,671. Gas meters. MOUNSEY, H. J., and COLLINS, L. Jan. 23, 1957 [Jan. 23, 1956], No. 2116/56. Class 54. The casing T of a dry gas meter is constructed of tin plate and the internal mechanism of the meter is bolted to a rectangular flanged collar C which is cast from a mixture of antimony and lead or other material capable of being soldered to the casing. The collar is soldered to the casing preferably near the outlet connection O. A further support for the mechanism may be soldered to the casing and bolted to the mechanism at its furthermost part from the collar.
